We have just reached this milestone in the Webserver Trios Tournament and would like to thank all the members who have taken part and continue to support the tournament. If you are chasing your BCCA Titles the Trio’s tournament is a good source of BCM and BM Points in Class 3.

2014 Bronze Medal Tournament No.2 decided
Congratulations to Bill Clews on winning the tournament in a close fought finish with Colin Cheek. Bill scored 8.5 points and 8 wins and Colin finished on 8 points with 7 wins. Bill receives 5 BCM points and the engraved Bronze Medal, Colin receives 3 BCM points. Bill will play in the ‘Silver Tournament’ next time.
As an added bonus, Bill Clews has now accumulated 26 BCM points & is therefore awarded the BCCA Candidate Master (CM) Title. Congratulations to Bill!
Neil Limbert is the 2013/14 BCCA Champion
The 2013/14 BCCA Championship Final has been won by our General Secretary Neil Limbert in a nail biting finish with Mark Eldridge and Dominique Conterno. Both Neil and Mark scored 7 points but Neil had the better SB score of 31.25 against Mark’s 31.00 – it could not have been closer. Neil wins 1st Prize of £100.00 + 12 BCCA Master Points. Together with his previous Master points he now earns the BCCA Master Title. He will also be presented with the ‘Charters Trophy’ at the AGM to hold for the next year. Mark in 2nd place receives £50.00 and 7 BCCA Master Points, Dominique in 3rd place scored 6.5 points and receives £25.00 and 3 BCCA Master points. Very well played gentlemen.
Prize money for the championship is being doubled for the 2014/15 competition and thereafter so don’t miss out, get your entries in before the 31st August.
Webserver Trio’s Update – February 14
Three Trios have been decided this month:-
Class 1 Trio No.61 has been won by Michael Kruger with a perfect score of 4/4, Michael has been promoted to Class 2 and awarded 2 BCCA Candidate Master Points.
Leslie Eastoe is the winner of Class 3 Trio No.8 with a score of 3/4 against Bill Clews and Phillip Tolhurst. Leslie has been awarded 3 BCCA Master Points.
Ben Wood has won Class 2 Trio No.20 with a score of 3.5/4 and is now playing in Class 3, Ben has also been awarded 4 BCCA Candidate Master Points
David Roberts wins his first Class 1 Trio
Webserver Trios Update
New Member, Stephen Woodhouse has won Class 1 Trio No.73 with a score of 3.5/4 and has been promoted to Class 2. The other players were Jim Fox and Christopher Greenhill. All players are to be commended on their quick play – the Trio was finished in less than 2 weeks.
Two New Members, Malcolm Winter and Roy Summers are joint winners of Class 1 Trio No.67 with a score of 3/4 and have both been promoted to Class 2, the other player was David Gosling
Raymond Cox wins Class 1 Trio No.64
David Coyne – Undefeated in the Webserver Trio’s
Congratulations to David Coyne who remains undefeated after his fourth Class 3 Trio with a win in BCCA/C3/Tr6, very well-played Sir. David has been awarded another 3 BCCA Master Points towards his BCCA Master Title. The other players were Graham Pattrick and Phil Beckett. Remember the Trio’s Tournament is a good way to build up your Masters points.

Adrian Hollis Memorial Tournament
This tournament starts on the 5th January and we have 4 BCCA members taking part:-
Mike Donnelly, John Rhodes, Richard Hall & John Pugh.
It is being played on the ICCF webserver, the average rating is 2504 with significant cash prizes available:
1st place £300
2nd place £200
3rd place £100.
For every game won a player will receive £25.
