Try the New Webserver Trio’s

We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new format for the Webserver Tournament. The objective is to provide a more stimulating challenge for all players with progression prospects and the possibility of earning points towards a BCCA Title. It is designed to allow for continuous entry throughout the year.

It will be a ‘Class’ based tournament with all players starting in Class 1. The format will be ‘All Play Trios’ (4 Games per player) with the winner being promoted to Class 2, where a new Trio will start once three players have qualified and paid the entry fee. The winner of this trio being promoted to Class 3 and awarded 5 points towards the BCCA Candidate Master Title, the last placed player will be demoted back to Class 1 and the remaining player stays in Class 2 awaiting the next Trio. This format is repeated in Class 3 where the winner will be awarded 3 points towards the BCCA Master Title and either, be promoted to Class 4 (depending on the volume of players) or remain in Class 3 along with the second placed player awaiting the next Trio. There are no cash prizes in this tournament.

Players will be able to purchase 1, 2 or 3 rounds at a time at a cost of £2.00 per round; each round being played consecutively, every effort has been made to keep costs as low as possible. All games will be played on the ICCF Webserver.

The Tournament Director is Tony Cannon who hopes the new structure will meet with your approval and will be happy to deal with any questions/queries arising.
